The truck arrives

Today the truck with all of our household goods arrived.  I never realized how attached you can get to your toaster or your cutting knives.  It was nice to see them again.  Chris the supervisor from the move was awesome.  He made sure everything was in the right place and put back together.  So in 15 hours we went from no furniture to a livable place.
I added some pictures so you can see our new apartment.  We will be here until the house is built.  Anywhere from mid December to end of January.  I will just plan on end of January and then I won't be disappointed.
Bryon went to work tonight to empty his email box.  He was here all day and it was a great relief not to have to do it alone.  I love my hubby!
Three days in MN and still surviving it.
Now the list of to do items begins tomorrow.  I hope that we can get it all done before school starts.

MN or bust!

We, or rather the moving company, packed and loaded our entire house on Thursday and Friday the 26th and 27th.  Even though they did all of the work, it was still emotinally exhausting.  We stayed at the Marschalls Friday night and then headed up to MN on Saturday morning. Before I go on, I would just like to thank all of those who watched our children, fed us, and generally were there for us as we went through this last week.  We couldn't have done it with out you.  We also had a miracle happen too.  Tuesday the 24th as we were flying home from Utah, a family saw our home. This was the last time it could be shown before it would be empty.  They liked it and made an offer that evening.  We came to an agreement and our house is technically sold as long as the inspection and financing go well.  We are very very grateful and know that the Lord is in our lives all of the time and is aware of all of us. So we head to MN with a huge weight off of our shoulders. By the time we reached our apartment, we were all tired and had a minor breakdown as we entered the apartment complex, but after a few tears and outbursts and apologies, we blew up our mattresses and bedded down for the night.  Sunday we went to our new ward, the Weaver Lake Ward.  The power was partially out and they had no air conditioning at all.  Needless to say it was getting pretty warm by the end of the 3 hour block.  We heard as we left that they actually cancelled the 1:00 block.   We met some nice families and found out all sorts information.  We drove by our lot and it is beatiful.  It has even been surveyed and has all of the stakes out to mark our house.  Exciting!!!!! Then for dinner we went to the Hillyards home.  They are members of our ward who live in the neighborhood we are building in.  They also invited our future next door neighbors so we could meet them.  It was fun and we had a good time. So we are tired, but feel like we have a good start so far.  Tomorrow the moving truck comes.  I am dreading the prospect of unpacking and then packing it up again in six months to move again, but I will be so thankful to have my bed and cooking supplies.  I miss them already.
